What a rainy cabin sounds like here
The idea is a room you are safely inside while the weather stays outside it. Pink noise is the soft hiss filling the room, and together with the rain it softens the higher sounds a house makes, like a door downstairs or a tap running. A truck on the road is deeper than either one and will come through anyway. The wind and the owl are kept much quieter on purpose, because a cabin stops feeling sheltered the moment every noise outdoors is in the room with you. Turn the small sounds down before turning anything up
If the owl or the wind keeps catching you, lower that one sound instead of raising the pink noise to bury it. The rain can go down toward 25% for a calmer room, or up past 40% when you want the weather to be the main thing you hear. Give each change a minute, because sounds that only happen now and then are easy to misjudge right after you move a slider.
