Cosmic Drift
Cosmic Drift is the darkest pad in this set: a low hum with a few faint tones above it and nothing bright left on top. It stays nearer the middle than the other ambient loops here, so it doesn't spread out around you. It suits you if you want something deep with no sparkle in it.

What the loop actually contains
The main pitch is a low F, with a few quieter tones sitting around it. What defines this one is what isn't there: very little survives above the pitch of a speaking voice, and higher up than that there is nothing at all. Of the ambient pads on these pages it's the darkest and the narrowest, with both ears getting close to the same thing.
How it compares and what to pair it with
